Native American Algonquin Made Lakota Designed Beaded Knife Sheath Necklaces
These beautiful miniature sheaths were created by Algonquin Indians using Lakota designs. These Native American sheaths were beaded onto soft leather, lined with holster leather, and handstitched. There is a long thong on the sheath so it can be worn as a necklace. The Native American women, specifically the Cherokee, are known to wear these tiny knife necklaces and tuck them in their bras. This is so they always have some protection from any danger.
